We exist to supply local organizations with the life-changing Word of God, so that as they seek to meet the community’s physical needs, we can partner with them to meet the community’s spiritual needs as well. Our goal is to see every hurting man, woman and child with physical and spiritual hunger in this city and surrounding areas be introduced to Jesus, the Bread of Life. Isaiah 9:6 says, “And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” It is this Jesus who we want to introduce to as many people as we can, and these precious children of God that we seek to serve need Jesus. Our prayer is that they see that all of these things—healing, counsel, salvation, miracles, strength, love, and peace—are found perfectly in JESUS! A considerable need is there—one that has been going unmet. Imagine the impact of meeting this spiritual hunger—of getting a Bible into the hands of those in spiritual need—it will undoubtedly be life-changing for hundreds and thousands of people! We believe the Bible to be the inerrant, supernaturally inspired, and powerful Word of God. We believe God’s Word to be the single most important book to ever be written and through God’s revealed Word we find the truth, grace and love of our Savior Jesus Christ. We see His heart and His desire for the lost of this world to find an everlasting and redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ.
In John 6:35, Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
Here in Dallas and the cities that surround us, we have thousands upon thousands of hurting people. Some are homeless, some are victims of domestic abuse, some are hungry, some are struggling financially, some are children displaced from their homes, some are women in crisis pregnancies, and some are trying to recover their life from addiction. But the one thing that all of these children of God have in common is that they are in desperate need of the love of Jesus and the true freedom that only He can offer. We respect and support the organizations that meet these men, women and children’s physical needs. We exist to come along side them and through the power of God’s Word, introduce them to the One who can heal their spiritual needs as well.
